Mark Knoop collaborates regularly with other musicians and ensembles.

With Carl Rosman (external link), Mark Knoop is co-artistic director of the Libra Ensemble (external link). The ensemble was originally formed in 1992 at the Victorian College of the Arts (external link) and has since gone on to give regular performances of contemporary and twentieth century music. Most of Libra’s ensemble performances take place in Australia, whilst Rosman and Knoop perform as a duo throughout Europe.
Mark Knoop is a founding member (conductor and accordionist) of Plus-Minus (external link), directed by Matthew Shlomowitz (external link) and Joanna Bailie (external link). Plus-Minus is distinguished by its interest in avant-garde, conceptual, and experimental open instrumentation pieces such as Stockhausen’s 1963 classic, from which the group takes its name. The group performs regularly across Europe.
Cellist Christina Waldock (external link) and pianist Mark Knoop have been performing as a duo since the beginning of 2002. Their regular concerts in London and throughout the United Kingdom have explored the repertoire based on the Beethoven sonatas for piano and cello.
Mark Knoop also works regularly with other groups including Ensemble Exposé (external link) (London), ELISION Ensemble (external link) (Brisbane), asamisimasa (external link) (Oslo) and 175 East (external link) (Auckland).
